Snellville is a city in the county of Gwinnett, Georgia, USA. Its residential and commercial development has developed extremely in the recent years. The city is known for its slogan sign, 'Everybody's Somebody In Snellville'.
In 1923, the city of Snellville obtained their agreement from the General Assembly of the State of Georgia. Gladston Snell was the first mayor of the city, and Byron Whitworth was the first police officer in the city. The city was reorganised in 1940. Its city limits were expanded to a 1.
6 kilometre (or 1-mile) radius from the centre of the city.

According to the US Census Bureau, the total area of the city is 9.7 square miles (or 25.1 square kilometre), of which 9.7 square miles (or 25.0 square kilometre) of the total area is covered by land and 0.04 square miles (or 0.1 square kilometre) is covered by water.
